The Sparta Historical Society's presentation will be given by Leonard DeGraaf from the Thomas Edison National Historical Park, West Orange. Leonard will speak on "Edison and the Rise of Innovation", from his research in Ogdensburg on the mining operation in Sparta when Thomas Edison's mines were active. A brief meeting of the Historical Society will begin at 730 PM and will be followed by light refreshments and the presentation, which is free to members and $3.00 to non-members. |
