Now That You're a Member

Welcome! You've joined the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce. Now what?

As a new member of the Chamber, you have joined more than 500 businesses working to promote the economic vitality and quality of life in Sussex County. The Chamber’s mission is to enhance our members’ success through advocacy, member benefits, and services. Here are some things you can do to start making your membership work for you today!
Check Your New Listing.  Your membership includes an online listing at sussexcountychamber.org containing your basic company information and a link to your website. Please check that both are correct. Consider adding color, graphics and a narrative description to your listing to make it stand out – ask us how!
Explore the Online Member Portal. Once you’ve received your login credentials, check out the member portal. Designed to allow our members to make the most of their membership, the portal allows you to: control and up-date your company profile information, register for Chamber events and activities, pay invoices, and post member to member offers.
Attend the Chamber Business to Business Breakfasts. Meet other Chamber members, build relationships and learn about Chamber programs events and initiatives at the monthly Business to Business Breakfast. Breakfasts are held on the second Tuesday of each month (except in January, July and August). There’s no charge to attend but you must RSVP. You can register online or by email to mail@sussexcountychamber.org. Breakfast sponsorships are available.
Get Involved. Consider joining one of the many Chamber committees, participate in your local Chamber Council, consider sponsorship opportunities, and attend events and programs.
Add the Chamber Email Address to Your Email Safe Senders List, Address Book or Contact List. The Chamber sends emails through Outlook from mail@sussexcountychamber.org. It also sends emails via Constant Contact. Please add both to your Safe Senders List so our communications come to your inbox and not the junk folder. If you would like others in your company to receive Chamber emails, add them to your rep list by sending us an email including their names and email addresses.
Add Our Logo to Your Website. All members are welcome to use the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce Member logo on their website and in their publications. To request this high-resolution logo, email Tammy Crimando at tcrimando@sussexcountychamber.org.
Like us on Facebook. One of the first things we do when a new member joins the Chamber is “Like” them on Facebook. Please “Like” us back.

Take Advantage of Chamber Marketing Opportunities including email blast advertising, the piggyback mailing program, and advertising in the Chamber's annual Sussex County magazine. Program book advertising is also available for select Chamber events.

Reach Out to Fellow Members using contact information available on the Chamber member list. Members can request one hard copy member list per year for free (additional lists are $25). Mailing labels are also available (cost is $95).

Post Your Employment Opportunities on the  Chamber website by logging into the member online portal. Contact us with any questions.
We Want to Hear From You. Your input matters to us. The Chamber team welcomes your emails and phone calls. Let us know how we can help you meet challenges and grow your business in Sussex County.
