Join With Us For Leap of Kindness Day 2024
2024 is a Leap Year! What Will You Do With an Extra Day?
The Sussex County Chamber invites you to participate in Leap of Kindness Day and do something kind for another person or group in our community!
This wasn't our idea, but we love it!
Leap of Kindness Day was invented by the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce in 2016. The idea was to inspire its members and community to use their extra day that Leap Year to do something kind for someone else.
Soooo...LET'S DO THIS!
Everyone is invited to join us. To help you be as kind as possible on February 29, 2024, we compiled a list of requests from local Chamber organizations that could use your help. We also have some general suggestions listed below too. Whatever you choose to do, be sure to share your act of kindness on social media and tag us to help spread the word about Leap of Kindness Day! @SussexCountyChamberofCommerceNJ #LeapOfKindnessDay

Other ideas include:
Organize a drive for essential items and personally deliver the collected goods to a local charity on February 29.
Express gratitude to first responders by delivering a meal or snacks to your local fire, police or EMS station on Leap of Kindness Day
Enhance a public space - park, trail, or playground - by cleaning, beautifying or fixing some amenities in need.
Encourage your children to write and deliver thank you notes to educators, custodians, bus drivers and others on February 29.
